SCOPE OF WORK: This activity includes assessing post-treatment as a critical part of self-assessment and key to comprehensive oral health care optimizing care strategies including prognosis.

- Carry out a comprehensive post treatment assessment at the conclusion of a patient’s active treatment to include
- assessment of previous treatment
- determination of current disease status and prognosis
- identification of ongoing and future treatment needs
- Carry out specific prescriptive reevaluation for patients who have undergone caries, periodontal, and/or endodontic therapy
- Accurately communicate to patient findings from re- assessment and recommendations for ongoing or future treatment
- Apply principles of behavioral sciences and person-centered care to promote, maintain, and improve a patient’s oral and systemic health
- Implement patient specific oral health promotion and disease prevention programs and resources
- Engage in ethical clinical decision making
